Massaging legs and hips is an integral part of a full massage treatment.  I use a combination of long stokes, kneading, folding the muscle, and using a variety of pressure appropriate to the client's needs.  Leg massage is best when you can take time out to relax, take a bath and fully recuperate.  As with any massage, a Swedish, sports or remedial leg massage helps to move lymph, to activate the circulatory system and to bring about a state of healing and stress reduction.  From Kasem, Harrow Massage Therapy, London
