Harrow Massage and Health in London UK

A sports massage is by definition a specialised massage for an athlete. As the massage therapist, I ask questions relating to what type of sport, what pain or discomfort is felt, if there is or was an injury, and to give me feedback if the pressure is too intense or if they prefer a deep tissue massage. No single massage technique works for everyone, but for the athletic, it is paramount that the massage increases their athletic performance and recovery.
The essence of the massage treatment is prioritising what areas I should focus on whilst relieving strain and stress from those areas. My approach is to give a sense of relaxation, focus on a trouble area and then to sense when to move on as to over massage tends to undo any good work done. At the end of the treatment, I ask questions regarding diet and recommend the client to take a high potency fish oil, filtered water, natural multi-mineral, and to minimise foods that rob the body of health and potency.
